My wife did an excellent job to get all of her documents in Iran certified, many colorful stamps.

When we filed with the USCIS we didnt even know there was an NVC or that there was anything beyond the USCIS.

Now the NVC wants all origianals... She got out of Iran and is in Dubai awaiting her interview date in Abu Dhabi.

Today they told us all of her document (color scans of the smae files that exist with the USCIS) are not acceptable.

Going back into Tehran is unacceptable.

What is the level of interaction between the USCIS and NVC?....Isnt it the same government and embassy?

They act like they are form different planets and neither has any idea how to phone the other for a file.

Apparently not.

Photocopies for USCIS, originals/certified copies to NVC.

Not sure how you will overcome this.

In thinking about this, I would recommend that you call NVC and ask to speak with a supervisor (be polite but firm and you will be put through to one).

Discuss it with them, maybe they will make an exception. The originals will be there at the interview - maybe, just maybe, they will give you a break.

Good luck.

NVC has everything you sent to USCIS, so if your case file is there...

If NVC is asking you for anything at all though, this is NOT a K3 case.
