Who believes this #######?

The person who did the documentary had no medical knowledge and collude fact with fiction. He based his ideas on rhetorics.

That's quite a left wing P.O.V. Since no study has been undertaken, surely there must be no problem right.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Nope. Let me explain for those who never done Genetic Engineering. I've done genetic engineering in the lab.

First of, genetic engineering doesn't always work all the time.

Second, humans have done genetic engineering since the beginning of time. The first genetic engineering crop would be barley. The first genetic engineered without using restriction enzymes in a lab and using cellular hypotonic and hypertonic state to remove the DNA out of the cell and replace a section of DNA with a gene from another fish or animal or whatever...were pets.

Genetic Engineering with breeding for example. If you look at the genotypes, you want to look at the punnet squares...determine which gene variety create this breed, and breed the dogs for example....

If the audience has no knowledge of genetic engineering, don't believe a thing as to the guy who made the video.

Perhaps ignorance of portraying what is believeable to you leaves something to be desired. I have been watching monsanto for a while, and they have many genetic seeds and are suing farmers. Here in florida and the US they developed rbst a growth hormone that enhances dairy milk production. It is banned in Canada and Europe. Their insecticide They have patented a pig. Europe forced Monsanto to change the label of their insecticide Roundup from a label saying that it is bio degradeable with no cancer causing properties. It now says nothing about it.

Check this out, then if you have time. Look at other documentary of Monsanto. He who controls food, controls the world. There has been an agricultural comittee set up in the US to state how food crops are to be grown, conditioned, insecticides, etc. Wonder is going to administer this? You guessed it.

How is genetic engineering related to chemicals used to kill insects?

Explain.

Better yet. Everyone here will be surprised that many of the byproducts of manufacturing is also hazardous.

monsanto owns many patents on food. just do a search on monsanto food patents and you'll be amazed at some of the facts you'll find. steven and i agree it's quite worrisome - imagine that, something a liberal and a conservative find worrisome.

I once did dissecting on a cows brain, in a lab, that must make me a brain surgeon. I also clone and grow gourmet mushrooms in my home lab. That make me a genetic engineer....rofl.gif Now, if I only can make that sexbot work I'll be a fuking genios!

Yep. That is essentially the theory of genetic engineering.

People have been doing these things and don't realize it.

Neils there is a good reason why GM foods are heavily restricted outside the US.

Yeah they are on Maui and grow corn here, I would be very worried about monsanto. Monsanto is trying to control the seed market and more then that.

Which country is leading in BioMedical/BioTechnology research?

You can also think of it as people who don't know, always believe in rethorics rather than fact. Those who never once been exposed to an idea will think negatively of it. Foreign countries aren't quite bleeding their efforts on BioMed/BioTech because they are scared. In fact, MA is the only state in the US that is considered the BioMed/BioTech of the world.

We cannot even cure basic diseases, yet you expect us to leave humanity up to scientist 'experimenting'. Unfortunately there is not much room for oh opps on that level.

The folks up there need to cure something serious, then come tell me you are ready to tackle GM.

I guess you need to study you tube a bit more. "Europe forced Monsanto to change the label of their insecticide Roundup"I have never used it as an Insecticide.Just what pest's can I kill with it?

There are no chemical tests that can distinguish between milk produced using synthetic rBST and "hormone free" milk because cows produce hormones anyway.

Actually that is a good example. rBST and rBGH are banned in most first world countries, excluding the US of course; where we allow corporations to self-regulate. Another good reason I buy milk organic. I always laugh seeing people purchase milk in the plastic bottles, which it itself is said to be bad for the milk, rather than spend a few extra bucks on organic milk in a carton.
