To all those that already got the certificate:

which picture did they put on the naturalization certificate?

Is it the pictures you supply when sending in the N400 application?

Just wondering because I didn't really pay attention to the pictures and they are awful....

The one you sent in. If you want to change it, bring a new set of pics to your interview.

Wife doesn't like her photo either, no smile, no jewelry, minimum makeup, more like a mug shot. Took over two dozen photos, but have to meet the DOS requirements. She had me take a couple of more with smiles and jewelry for her own collection. She was also upset because they put blue streaks on her face in her passport photo.

Hey, its not like you are entering a beauty contest or want to impress that guy at the POE, besides your main form of ID is your drivers's license, there they let you wear your jewelry and smile. After we went through all that post US citizenship stuff, her certificate was buried away and we haven't looked at it since.

She also objected to signing her full name on the certificate and passport, just do it. She is very proud of her artistic signature.
