On the bright side, most of their fees are at the beginning of the process, or so far down the line (like lifting conditions) that it wouldn't be unexpected for it to cost more, and while $75 sucks, it's much less painful than the $131->$350 visa jump the K1s had.

yeah, but add that jump on to the change for the K1s... It's a double whammy. Actually a triple whammy since we paid $455 for the original application and they are lowering it down to $340.

Agreed! We just hit the window where we get stuck with the extra fees, but no benefit of the application decrease....Ahh...but love is priceless

I have to ask, what is the civil surgeon designation fee? Am I seriously going to have to pay 615 bucks to see a civil surgeon for my medical exam? I already feel faint from the costs I have to look forward to in the upcoming months. Plus the cost of moving. Love is indeed priceless but there is a limit to what is available in my bank account. lol

You're not going to pay unless you are a doctor who wants to be designated as a civil surgeon to perform immigrant medical exams.

Ooops! You missed the falling prices!

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.
