And even if the original picture was showed, it couldn't have been damning. Look at how the knife is being held. Someone who used a knife or was going to use a knife doesn't hold the knife like that. The way the protester is holding the knife shows intent to move the knife away from the soldiers who was not only trained to use the knife but also told to use the knife. The knife also has uncanny resemblences to IDF knives.

Anyway, the comparison is completely idiotic. Law breakers are more likely to die

at the hands of law enforcement than vice versa.

The soldiers were there to enforce the law. The "activists" were there to break the law.

I understand that some people might not like the law, but it is what it is.

The outcome is not surprising. Next time you get pulled over for speeding (an unpopular

law to be sure), try attacking the cop with a knife and see what happens.

are you talking about pic 2 or pic 4?

pic 2 is exactly how you would hold a knife if you had just stuck someone or about to stick someone w/o a knife..you would want to turn the knife to 1 maximize damage & 2 relieve pressure to pull & restick it or like you said, you hold a knife like that when 'protesting'. you would want to hold the knife inward parallel to the forearm if you were facing adversary that also had a knife, so you could deflect w/ the open hand then cross swing back & down while the adversary was off balance.

pic 4 shows the way you would hold a knife if you realized 'oh sh!t those aren't paintballs anymore.' and in the process of dropping the knife.
