Hello all:

I have a question...USCIS cashed my check yesterday for the I-130 that I submitted 5/27/10 (they received the package on June 1st) I see a number on the back of my check that I can see pretty clearly (starts with WAC). I know that some of you have been able to sign up for updates with this number, I did it when I did my citizenship. So this morning I went to check my status and to sign up for updates and it tells me that there is no sucj case number in their files, can it be that I have to wait for the NOA 1 in the mail first? It may be to early since they just cashed my check yesterday? I appreciate your reply!

Emily

PS still excited the check was cashed!! At least the ball is rolling! lol yes.gif

Congratulations, you are on your way!

Add "1" to the number on the back of your cheque and that will give you the correct case number to check on the USCIS site. Not sure why it works that way but it does. :)

Good luck!
