We are filling out the forms for my wife's AOS and I notice that the A number listed on her K1 visa is completely different from the A number on the NOA2. Is this normal? Which should I use? Thanks!

It's not normal. It's likely that the number you THINK is the A number on the visa isn't. Trust the NOA2.

OK. I have seen the information highlighting where the A number is on the NOA2 and that is what I went by, but when searching the forums I also read that it was on the K1 itself under Annotations (not the red numbers, but the one starting with an A).

Thanks for your help. Your posts have helped us tremendously. :)

It's weird your annotation number is difft then if it starts with "A0".

if it helps for comparison, the A number on my NOA2, visa and the one written on my I-94 by immigration were ALL the same. The NOA2 is the most likely to be correct as that was when the number was first generated so they paid more attention then.

As always, happy to help :)
