Sprint 4G EVO launches this Friday. I am looking into going back with these guys.

You might be better off with the HTC Incredible - the Evo 4G is a rebuilt version of the HD2, which is a massive slab to carry around in your pocket.

You are mis-reading it. The $30 plan is grandfathered for those that already have it. It is not offered to new customers, which means it is not a good deal or they would allow you a choice, and the phrase "as long as they continue paying $30 per month" means "If you are ever late with a payment, even by 1 day, we cancel that plan and put in the new one" which also means the NEW plan is NOT a good deal for me. I will be sure never to be late.

Doing even normal household business has become just a nightmare of booby traps designed to take more of what I earn for the same service. It really sucks. Name another business where you sign a two year contract but one party can change it all they want without consent. #######????

You are wrong today (and through til June 7th). It's the same plan, $30 unlimited.

Not that sort of shitty plan. Usually you can get 3, 5, 15 gig plans for under $30. You also have the option of prepaid data only, which can be used over 6 months or a year.

PS Sprints 4G asks for $10 extra but is totally unlimited data.

The EVO should be quite the device. The only negatives I have read concern battery life. It is a large phone, but it fits the hand well. A nice big screen so that even us old guys can read it. I'm going to wait a bit and see how it works in the real world. And Android 2.2, Froyo, should be available for it soon too. The $10 fee for 4G is over and above the $30 unlimited data plan, and you must pay it even if 4 G is not available in your area. Check out the various cell forums, people have been complaining about this for 2 weeks now.

This will be my next phone. I have the Samsung Instinct S30 right now and love it. Sprint has been very good for me and I will stick with them.

I have the HTC hero on sprint and I love it!! And the price for our plan is not that bad, the company hubby works for also gets a 20% discount, so that helps out a bit too!!
