I am sorry I feel tempted to answer,even though I am not from the country of your fiance and despite knowing you would perhaps just want specific people to answer only.

But I think this is a highly subjective answer,and relative too.No one can predict what someone will become in the future and not all American girls are the 'typical' kind.You would need to trust someone you love and take a leap of faith in any situation.

I agree with the above poster. To make a blanket comment about how ALL Filipina woman will act when they come to the US isn't a fair comment to make. Marry the woman because you love her and want to share your life with her.

there is no sure way to tell. but you can better your chances of marrying the right person by talking to her a lot about important things like finances (to see if she values money or think it grows on trees and that you have many), her hobbies (going out to bars with friends, drinking, cooking, reading), how she values family, her family background (has many siblings who all depend on their parents or are close and are helping each other out)

and make your visits as long as possible and with quality (meet her family and friends, even co-workers)
