This is so far what I have:

Utility bills (some show only my name / my husband & some show both)-Cable, Cell phone, Gas, Water, Power, Etc.

Tax returns (married but filing separate 2008 & 2009)-due to financial issues

Apt lease agreement (2007-2011)-shows both names

Rental insurance (2008-2010)-shows both names

Car lease agreement (2007-2009)-shows both names

Car insurance (2007-2010)-shows both names

Health & dental insurance showing both names

Costco cards

Joint Credit card (expired now)

Joint bank account statements

Travel itinerary & hotel confirmations (printed from online)

Copy of greencard & marriage certificate

Photos in 2 years(about 80+)

Copy of holiday cards with photos from others (only one address our names)

Affidavits from my friends x2 (possibly more)

I am not sure whether this is going to be enough evidence. We don't have many joint accounts due to financial issues that we were currently having. My 90 just started last Friday and I am also planning to travel overseas middle of next month for a wedding. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

thank you for your responses. I am still afraid they may question why we filed taxes separately & we don't own anything together (like houses, cars, etc)

it's completely normal, as long as the taxes show "married but filing separately" as your status. I didn't even include taxes at all.

let me also add, not everyone is expected to have joint ownership or own a house to begin with. I truly think what you have is very sufficient, God Willing.

I think you have a lot of evidence to send. The only thing you may add is a letter from your bank showing an average balance on your joint account. We were asked to submit it for a conditional green card after an interview and as I understand it looks more presentable, or more official for USCIS. If you go to your bank and request it they will send it in mail in 2 weeks.

Send quality, not quantity. Don't send utility bills only in one name, when you have a truckload of stuff with both names on it. Also, don't send them 80 photos. Send them 3 or 4 pages with 3 photos each. Pick those that have the greatest impact.

justbob: thank you for your advice. i'll pick the most important ones out of them all. I just wanted to send more than less.
