My fiance submitted our I-129F application on July 17, 2006 to the Vermont Service Center and we have not yet received a NOA1. I notice on some timelines NOA1s are received within about 2 weeks.

Can anyone give me any advice on whether we should have received it by now and if so is there anything we should do?

We are no longer to be married.

One of us couldn't go through with it.

Have you paid by check? If so, you can get the receipt number from it and check for online updates. For more info, please check this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...c=22852&hl=

Good luck!

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Ok I received an email today stating that a card or document was returned to them as undeliverable by the post office. I assume this was finally my NOA1.

The email said to call them and update my mailing address.

So I called the number and told the girl all of my mail address info. I know it was correct on the application so I figure they must have typed an incorrect zip code or something. anyway she allowed me to use a P.O Box so I hope this fixes things.

My PO doesn't deliver out here to my house so I get my mail at the PO box in town. But this is a small town and my friends at the po know that any mail addressed to my street address gets put in my po box.....

Weird!
