Hi all,

I received checklist from NVC to send them original marriage certificate and my wife’s birth certificate. My question is, at what phase I will get my originals back from them. She is going to have her interview in Pakistan.

They asked for original marriage certificate, original wife’s birth certificate, and police certificate.

kfameri has received a checklist for documents he did not send to NVC, but should have.

NVC has all the documents with the exception of the original marriage and birth certificates(they have certified copies).

Documents copy can be certified only by the agency that issued the document.

I don't know what other countries do, but in Jordan, the certified copies have a stamp (looks like a postage stamp) and seal on them.
