No, just make a copy of everything for yourself. The IV packet is the one that you need to make copies of some of the documents to send along.

Do not wait..call NVC daily starting from Monday. It takes NVC 5-6days to assign case #. Give them both email addy and be sure to get your IIN as that will save you loads of time.

Minted, you are the primary sponsor , You were unemployed for 2010 ,so thats fine to check unemployed. But, you WILL have to include a I864 form and your tax returns for the past tax year(09) (or past 3...09,08,07)even if you were below the 125% or not. Your parents WILL also have to include their's too (tax papers and I864 form(s) )since they are co sponsoring ... Hope that helps. Wayne(booger)

Just to give you a tip the NVC line is usually busy so just keep calling till you get through and then follow the prompts till it gives you the option to talk to a person, depending on the time you call you will have to wait shorter/longer to talk to them, and I wouldn't really bother with the AVR for case info as it's usually not updated very well even worse than USCIS case status thing.

Make sure that you provide tax transcripts from you and your parents you can choose to do the most previous or last 3 years which ever you think would help show your financial stability with your parents to support the beneficiary. Check out that NVC shortcut link I posted the other day, if you haven't yet, as it really has all this info also it's useful to read it~!

May 2010 CR-1/IR-1 Filers Thread

“Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” (Corinthians 13:4-7)

Timeline
