Aneudy congrats on the interview! It's about time!!!

Quick question...those of you who are here in the US and were the beneficiaries...when did you sign the DS-230 part 2? I thought from posts I've read that it was done at the interview but my husband said they didn't have him sign it yesterday. He thought about it and said he didn't see anyone sign it at the embassy yesterday and all but 1 were approved (that he could hear). Anyway, is this a mistake or does it get signed at POE or what?

Ok guys.. Good and bad news..Hubby said interview was easy just that cosponser filed taxes wrong so it is either cosponser do an amendment or i get another cosponser and send info to embassy and they will give Hussy the visa.I felt so sad but atleast i know it is not somthing hard to fix.

Congratulations!! It is not a hard fix so get it fixed and send it asap!! :star:

That's what we're trying to figure out. He said no one signed it yesterday. Maybe they'll do it when he picks up the visa? I'll have him ask.

Let me know if you get a new forum started since I am not here as often as I like to be to know if one was started.

good idea! btw, just wanted to let all of you know that the CR-1 visa that you get in your passports is a valid temporary substitute for the I-551 form (green card) for up to a year (according to the fine print in the visa sticker itself). so i think that should suffice when going for job interviews and such, ie, you can say that you are legally authorized to work in the US w/o any issues...something to remember (in light of all the recent GC and SSN conversations)...
