How does it feel to be touched?

Or more specifically, what does it look like on the USCIS website?

When I check my status on the USCIS website, the only thing I see is the following:

Current Status:

Hi Looking4Wife, anytime ur last update date changes u were touched. how does it feel? don't know, we r in almost the same boat as you. filed at TSC, xferred to CSC. our current status...

I was so confused by that when I first became a member. What you do is to log into your USCIS account and click on the receipt number and it will show you a short message and a date. When the 'date last updated' is different than the original receipt/notice date but the status is the same that will tell you the last time it was touched. So, in my case the original date of NOA1 was April 13, 2006. Every time I got onto the site and looked at it the date was the same until I clicked on the receipt/notice number itself and then it took me to a different screen which showed the date last updated. The first time I saw a different date was May 01...so I knew that on May 01 it was touched. Since then, I checked it every day. Every time that the date changes but the message and status is the same (the one about you will be notified when a decision has been made...blah blah blah) you have been touched. I was touched about 7 times before being approved. I hope this helps, its kind of hard to explain. Best of luck.

hey thx 4 that clarification, i was under a wrong impression...off 2 d uscis site 2 check!

languageladki, when i log in uscis and click our receipt number the page that pops up has no date on it. will there not be a date until it is touched 1st?

I check it daily but same message, dates never change

My Patition has not been "Touched" since approval. Is this OK? are there some cases where there will be only one time someone looks at it? 04-08-06? approved and not touched after then? Have I done every thing OK?
