Also Like to know when does NVC send the completed packet to Embassy, is it after they assign the interview date and then send the packet to embassy? So I can start to track the packet on DHL website.?

About a week after your interview is assigned the AVR will update to say your package has been sent to the Consulate. Use the day before the AVR says your package was sent as your reference point.

Your Welcome Mir&Naaz! :D And Congrats to you RabRiz!

Congrats S*D ... :star:

So, anyway I have news. This morning the husband rings me at some ungodly hour and tells me to get online. So, as a good wife does ... I do (looking sensational with bed hair and sleep in my eyes).

He tells me he has the recruiting job he wanted with the military and because they are sending him to school in June ... he has a 10 day window that he can visit me. Yayaya!!!! I'm booking his flights now and he will be here in 13 days. Pity he flies in the day AFTER my interview but I don't care. And it's only for 7 days but we'll take whatever we can get because it's been 5 months now and I'm gonna get me some ...:dance:

Guys,

for the education question on Ds-230: do we need to make sure we don't leave any time unaccounted for? for my mom, I wrote about her grammar school and high school, but I only posted the dates for the academic year. i know that for the residence and employment questions, we were not supposed to leave out any period of time. i made sure to do this for residence and employment, but i did not think that this concept also applied to the education question

i am getting an RFE for this! the RFE also states that i did not fill out the question about my mom's military history. i did! she has never been in the military. and i made sure to put N/A where appropriate.

I think so, but my mom hasn't had her medical yet. It's next week.

Someone else please advise

I don't know about the education part exactly we only put his college name and everything that goes with it. Were there any blanks in the same lines as the school information? if so that's where you add None or N/A , and on the military question you have to put none or n/a on each of the 4 blanks. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your input! That's what I did :). Made sure not to leave anything blank and put either None or N/A as appropriate.

I'm not freaking out yet because we have 10 more days until the end of the month. If they take care of this until then, I'm happy!

About a week after your interview is assigned the AVR will update to say your package has been sent to the Consulate. Use the day before the AVR says your package was sent as your reference point.

Congrats S*D ... :star:

Thank you Deb+Steve. So it means I just have to sit and wait until second week of June..:( So it means NVC keeps the completed documents and do nothing with them until second week of every month if they have finished processing the case and if it is passed the second week? That is really bizzare..Can't they just send the documents to Embassy so atleast we can request the embassy for an earlier interview date if possible? By the way anyone knows if US embassy in Pakistan has some sort of published calendar of interview dates for every month?

Thanks everyone once again for your wishes..I hope I get the interview date assigned soon as well..
