After filing my I-130 and not getting a receipt some guy at USCIS gave me a hard time when I asked how long it would take "maam how old are you? how old is your spouse? and it struck me HOW common is it for USCIS to be that abrasive to a fairly simple question?

I called again and got a much better person today.. ALL I wanted to know is IF I wanted to bring my spouse to the U.S. as soon as possible did I file the right forms and is there anything I could have odne to get him to be able to visit me sooner. The guy in call 1 told me NOTHING could be done, I just needed to wait. The lady I talked to today says I could file I129F now for permission to bring him while the forms are pending..

SOO NOW the question I have is How long is it before an I-129F Petition is processed allowing our spouses to travel to be with us, WHILE their visas are pending?

Any experience to share?

K3 is dead as it takes the same time to adjudicate (literally same day as I-130) so they only forward I-130 to NVC. You're looking at up to 5 months for NOA2 and then several weeks -2 months for NVC processing (depending how fast you are in getting everything to them) before the petition is sent to the embassy and interview scheduled.
