PAID AOS FEE, MAILED AOS, WHAT NEXT

I PAID THE AOS FEE ONLINE AND SENT IN THE AOS ALONG WITH ALL THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. WE ALREADY SENT IN THE CHIOICE OF AGENT AS WELL. MY QUESTION IS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. WILL I GET ANOTHER BILL IN THE MAIL FOR THE VISA FEE. ONCE I PAY THE VISA FEE DO I NEED TO SEND THE DS-230 AND ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO NVC OR IS THIS SOMETHING SHE BRINGS TO THE INTERVIEW?

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

You wait till your DS3032 is accepted and the $400 IV bill becomes available to be paid.

Pay it and wait for it to show as PAID.

Print out the cover sheet and send in your DS230 packet.

Does it hurt if you don't or if you forget to write the NVC Case Number on each pages that you sent to NVC? I forget to write mine when I sent it.

It's doesn't "hurt" you--it's just a precautionary measure.

Since you paid the AOS online, you can keep checking the online payment portal- the IV fee bill will show up to be paid sometime in the near future.

Does it matter where the Beneficiary's paperwork gets mailed from to NVC? I would like to double check my wifes paperwork before submitting but didnt know if NVC required the package to be sent from her country. My guess it doesnt matter but wanted to make sure.

What I did was to send my completed DS230 package to my husband as soon as we got our NOA2.

That way he was able to overnight it to NVC as soon as our IV bill cleared.

Also, ask her to send a few blank signed DS230s so that you can make any corrections or if you get hit by the dreaded RFE.

Yup, that's what I did incase we got hit by a RFE. Thankfully we didn't -- not with the DS230 at least.

I sent my I-864 last 04/21/2010 and NVC received 04/22/2010. How do I know if they are currently reviewing it? Do they have to email me?

No. they won't email you.

Did you pay online at the payment portal? If so, keep monitoring it, for the IV fee bill. Good Luck !
