:dance: Congrats to you, yes they are much nicer there, and more helpful, unfortunately, not all are sent right away though, mine has been there three weeks.......but congrats on yours being sent so quickly, and good luck on your interview :thumbs:

Actually, I think they screwed up, I think it was just sitting around there since the 14th of July. I have gotten different answers from different people. I called yesterday and a lady told me they just rec'd my case on the 31st yet I got a letter stating they rec'd it on the 14th, she said oh yes, well they just started working on it on the 31st, so it was basically just sitting there for2 weeks.......i wasn't too happy about that. I was told many different stories for the past two weeks. You really don't know who to believe. I am just hoping that it is now being worked on and will be sent on its way in a few days.......

I called NVC, they are so polite!!!!!! I said, wow you guys are so helpful & fast, much more so than USCIS. She said, yes, we are! :P

They rec'd mine yesterday & it's going to London today!!!!

2 day turnaround! :dance::dance:

That WAS quick!!! Now why can't USCIS follow their example huh?!?!?!?! Then maybe this world would be a much happier place hehe ;):whistle: You're on the downhill slope now! Good luck with the interview!

congrats! we've got the same date of approval and same service center yet when i tried to call the NVC today they still have not received my fiance's petition? :( what did you give them? was it the NOA2 receipt number? what's the maximum number of days for NVC to received approved petition? what's the route? -> service centers to where and where and lastly to NVC?

Everything sounds as if it is working for you .. weirdd.. silly NVC need to say (not for you k1 folks)

ahhahaha oh .. I did not know that.. I feel silly.

Right... the automated system only works once they have reassigned an NVC case number. You can then use that number for the atuo-system.

I phoned yesterday... woman was very polite and helpful, but my case did not arrive, according to her records. I will phone again later this afternoon.

No need to feel silly is right ! We did the same thing .. my fiancee got a letter from NVC saying they had already sent it to Montreal ( wrong consulate :angry: ) and the automated system still didn't have our case # LOL .. finally we got a human being ... :blush:

MIne was fast, perhaps I was in an early bunch they sent? It can take a few days to a few weeks. Don't worry yours will be there soon!

I gave them my USCIS case number & they gave me my new case number. USCIS to NVC to Consulate!

I was a bit shocked myself. She obviously hears how slow USCIS is all the time, hence her laughter & her reply to me!
