 i love new york, for like a few hours at a time

you're in the lehigh valley now, that can't be fun.

My parents-in-law have a beautiful house in McNair Circle. Oh well, I am not here to merely visit fun spots but to meet my family-in-law. I just had flat rice for breakfast. There should be more people visiting later today.

I'm not very fond of NYC either. I would never live there. As AJ says, it's fun for a weekend or a 2 day business trip. That about maxes me out in NY. London too.

My husband likes London. I was teasing him because I know he had a "fling" there during one of his trips in the past.

yeah, San Francisco and greater area is the same way... after being in CA for 12 years, i'm still amazed at how everything grass... shrubs.. flowers.. trees.. gardens.. yards.. courtyards are maintained. after being away for any extended time, it is always a pleasure to return to the beauty that is found in few places other than right here at home.

 I guess I'll always love CA.

SF seems too congested though. My husband drove me to Lombard Street last month. I was wondering what made that street so special.
