ds-230:

i forgot to fill in the middle name field with an "N/A", i just left it blank because my wife doesn't have a middle name...

will this trigger an RFE???

i hope this doesn't delay our case, it's been really smooth so far....

please advise

On future forms indicate "----" for the middle name if there is none. "None" is a name in some languages and the question is definitely applicable, so never tell USCIS or DOS their questions are not applicable. Use N/A for such things as the given name of a former spouse, when there IS NO former spouse etc.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Good luck! Unfortunately not much you can do but wait...let us know how it all turns out.

I did not discover VJ until after I submitted our I-130 petition and I actually left a question blank. In the end it had no effect as I was approved without any problems. Hopefully your experience will be the same. :)
