Its a gamble, but maybe your right, maybe waiting for the whole thing and then submitting it all together could have taken later then getting a RFE and submitting it now. Well be sure to go to a civil

Collected my interview letter in PO BOX today, it was dated June 03. And the interview is on July 12.

Still nothing about EAD.....

With the interview letter and appt coming up soon, dont worry too much about the EAD

Why are you worried? You got your EAD, that means you dont need to worry about interview for a while right??? Thats why they send EAd beforehand. Think about those of us hasnt even gotten the EAD.

I filled much earlier than you. Look at dates and then you will see why I'm worried.

Hmm.. Just a bit confused here guys. Whatever comes first, if you received your EAD card first then you can apply for SSN to work. But what if your interview date comes first. And they did put a stamp on your passport or send you your temporary greencard after a few weeks. Is that also acceptable to apply for SSS? And I think Ive read in some post you can use already the stamp on your passport to apply for a social number? ;)

I read also a lot about it and the thing is that it depends on ss office. It's stupid but sometimes they don't accept stamp and sometimes they do.

I hope in your situation it will go all smooth!! :yes::luv:

I dont disagree with the fact that you filed earlier than I did. All I am saying is you got the EAD to be able to work, get DL and SSN. Pls dont be upset.

I also noticed we are only 2 days apart on the Bio. I would be so happy if I get it this week!!!!!!!!!!

I am very happy that I have EAD but it has been sooo long that I'm afraid interview letter will never come. I had ssn and dl since I came. All J1 have it since the arrival.

BTW they count from the date we filed papers, not bio date as we do . They just check if you are done with bio at the point when issuing interview.

you are not gonna believe this. I just got my interview letter 5 minutes ago. Dated 6/8 interview on 7/13 2 pm. Its crazy. Few hours ago I wrote here that I hope i ll get it this week. My fingers are crossed for fellows haven't gotten theirs yet.
