I did my infopass appointment today at 8:30 am. And it was quite helpful because I was able to know the exact status of my case. They said that my packet was still in Missouri but my schedule has already been set on August 4. The officer also told me the status of my EAD and expect it to be received next week since it already has a card production.She also confirm to me my exact address and make sure it was correct. Another funny thing was when I checked my mailbox in the afternoon, I found my Interview letter. :blush:

1. (Black folder) containing all letters from the USCIS, Passport, MC and BCs

2. (Red folder)I-864: Original Employment letters, W-2s, Transcripts, and Pay stubs from December

3. (Yellow folder) I-130: I have the evidence that was sent to the USCIS in their original forms (lease, joint account statements, Insurance, Letters, Cards, receipts)

4. (Purple folder) "new evidence" (pink picture book, loose photos for IO, photo album & Affidavits that weren't included in original packet)

But thats good, less stress and u know u have everything :)

Yea I also plan to get a folder for all the forms i already submitted

and also a big folder with clear through pockets that i can flip thgouht like a photo album kinda thing but a folder, and have all the stuff there easy to see so i can just flip through and pull out the evidence or papers I need fast and easily. Yea having it organized makes it less stressful than looking through a big stack of papers

Thats a GREAT idea... It'll be easy to locate stuff with such a folder. I got the forms in tabs for easy locating and Im bringin a photo album but sometimes they want pics for the file so bringing loose ones too.

yea, this is the folder I keep papers now. I use seperate pages, keep originals up front for example of marriage certificate, birth certificate and then keep copies in the back.

Ohhh my EAD from got touched yesterday, but no 2nd email. I am hoping 2 get the EAD in like a week and go get a SS number. Hope the SS office wont take 2 wks 2 send me a number.

When my friend went to change her name she got her new card in like 3-4 days but maybe for a new one might take longer.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

btw im exahuasted there is a heatwave in NYC!! 100 F! but the accuweather says it feel liks 110F ! OMG! smileyvault-cute-big-smiley-static-031.gif

yea from what I remeber the federal bulding always had a line all through the side of the building, omg ppl might be getting heat stroke there by the time they get it..

so maybe garden city is better? yea atleast u wont have to get up at like 5 am like me, but then again 1st thing in the morning it might be less crowded and less people. I def need 2 find some sort of a ride there,(was thinkin taxi but it will prob be crazy expensive) I don't want to be taking the subway, train, bus at 5am.... and once Im approved, hell I can walk back home if i have 2! lol
