Yah i stay up late waitting for my husband to call me cuz i told him dont call my early unless they call you so ill know. so if i wake up in the morning and i did not get a call from him i get pissed cuz i know they did not call him. But when he calls latter during th day still ask if they called. lol its so stressful. I cant belive im saying this but i rather be back at NVC then AP. at least at nvc thing are under your controll. this is ####### there nothing i can do but wait. its killing me!! OK end of rant im off for now lol

Isn't that the truth?? I feel for you MQ! I truly believe the only reason my hubby wasn't put into AP was because I was there with him. I hope and pray that you will get a early phone call from your hubby with great news!!!

Congratulations to all the Pinay who got their interview and other VJ who got their interviews as well most especially to Sachinky who unselfishly shared knowledge and comfort to our pains for waiting and RFE.

Our ordeal to USCIS and NVC is over. Our patience and love was tested for our beloved. We are now heading to a new chapter in our tiny lives as we leave our families, friends, culture, heritage and country in pursuit for a lifetime journey with our love ones. We feel the excitement of being with our partners and live in a foreign country where we think it offers a good and comfortable life.

For me there is pain as I leave many things behind especially my family and 2 boys aged 20 and 21. I will miss my dog who is already part of our family. She gave us joy and put a smile in our faces. I know my heart will be shattered into pieces as I bid goodbye to my love ones. I will cry a lot alone in my journey. I know also, when my husband welcomes me with a big hug and kiss, I am a whole person again ready to face new life and share with him the rest of the journey. I believe that LIFE IS MATTER OF CHOICE AND NOT BY CHANCE. I also believe that there for every sunshine is a message from God and every sun dawn is a signature from God. God Bless to all.

Tigerlily, you have some very wise words in there. (F)(F) My heart goes out to you. I wish you well in your new venture, and pray that you will find comfort.

I am the lucky one, I get to stay home, and my husband come to me. It would be very hard to leave my son, and friends. To those who are coming to the US, you have my respect and admiration.

Pay attention, non-EP NVC noobs. Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

Suggestions:

1) Have the beneficiary mail SIGNED extra DS230s to you so that you have them handy in case something goes wrong. Or you get hit by a dreaded RFE.

2) If you just received your NOA2, THIS is the time to get your tax stuff and police certificates sorted out. Don't waste time on this.

3) Double check the PCC requirements in the regional forums as they are country specific.

4) Check the pinned STUPID RFEs thread in IR-1/CR-1 forum.

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-4 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

3-4 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

1-3 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

8-11 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

Folks--please make sure your official VJ timelines are up to date. Remember this is our only source of predictions. Thankyou!

This is the link to the NVC payment portal. Bookmark it. You're gonna be checking in a lot.
