And... please keep Thailand in your prayers. 21 dead and 850 injured. Protests in Bangkok have been going on for a month now. Tourists are heading home. And all the while, there are hundreds of people trying to go to school and work, eat, make a living, and get medicals and go to visa interviews. Pray for the right resolution, whatever it may be. Without any more bloodshed.

Out of curiosity - does anyone know - if we were to get a sign in fail tomorrow, does that mean we would have to wait a month - until mid-May before they would tell us what his June interview date is? Waiting a month - that would be utter hell.

This interview game is really unclear! Some people got interviews even at the end of the month!

:help: Today is the big day ! APRIL 12 !! the day that NVC said they are going to schedule interviews in :whistle:

MAY 21 09 : Application I-130 sent LPR

OCT 18 09: Spouse became USC

JAN 22 10: USCIS Online status showed I-130 APPROVED!!

NVC Journey:

JAN 28 10: Case received by NVC & number generated

MAR 31 10: SIGN-IN FAILED!

APR 14 10: Interview assigned

Medical APR 22 10 - DONE

Interview MAY 11 10

Visa Received MAY 25 10 - VISA RECEIVED - Alhamdulellah -

POE MAY 29 10 @ JFK

SSN JUN 15 10 (applied for replacement)

Christi -- It would depend if London is one those consulates that schedules interviews on the last week of the month or not. If yes, you'd get your interview date sometime between 26-30 April, assuming your case is completed before then without any RFEs. This will still be a June date, not a May one. Unless you can somehow move it up but from what I understand, London is pretty busy.

If that is not the current trend, then yes, you'd have to wait till 10-16 May for a June date.

urrrrgggggg USPS attempted to deliver my package to NVC on SUNDAY!!! :o

even if my husband selected "No Delivery on Saturdays" option... that mean they deliver on SUNDAY???

well...I believe they try to deliver at least 3 times...so hopefully NVC will get my package tomorrow morning...

WAAAAAHHHHTTT!? :blink:

that sucks!! and it's crazy! since there's no mail on sunday.... :wacko:

maybe he sent it on friday?

anyway, it should get there by tomorrow!! don't worry! :thumbs:

i think you can start calling and asking about 1 week after your case complete asking if they scheduled.

is this correct?

Morning VJ familia~ This is the week! I know a lot of us were praying for last week.. all the wasted energy we could have spent.. oh, I dunno, plotting an end to global hunger, reorganizing our CD collection, contemplating the art of lucid dreaming... :whistle: and here we are again. Sweaty palms and hungry for NEWS. Whether it be SIF, CC, Interview apts, etc., etc.

There is strength in numbers! So lets all keep our heads up and pray our misery will finally see that light at the end of the tunnel and like Yule says, pray that light is not a train coming in our direction... :rofl:
