In order to get passport clearance, I have to also wait till I get NVC checklist or interview letter.

The pcc I was talking about was local pcc.......

PCC is headache in all country as far as government rules applies......differently in different countries......

I guess we were luck. My wife never moved which also helped alot. I think it took her 4 -5 days to get her local and National Police Certificate. I already have them in my hand waiting for the DS 230.

NVC JOURNEY

- NVC Case Number Assigned 7/28/10

- AOS bill and Agent forms received & Paid 8/03/10

- Email DS 3032 8/04/10

- AOS Package Delivered to NVC 8/9/10

- IV Bill Received & Paid; 8/11/10

- IV Pack Received at NVC 8/16/10

- IV Pkg Entered into AVR System 8/19/10

- NVC SIF 9/9/10

- Case Complete, 9/13/10 w/questions on lack of income

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy, Manila

- Waiting Medical completed 10/27/10

- Interview Date 11/3/10 Wife didn't have NSO Marriage Certificate, No Approval OMG!!!

- NSO Certificate received by Embassy on 11/5/2010

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

What is the passport police certificate everyone is talking about? my wife was here and just got her police clearance certificates both federal and state level. do we need to get something else?

Rich- Each country has their own specific things that are needed. The reciprocity table for Brazil can be found on the travel.state.gov website and it will tell you what you need. So far, all I have seen is that India needs those.

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

Don't worry ... It's only for beneficiary's who are from INDIA. Basically in INDIA all US embassy requires passport clearance certificate because only passport authority issues such certificate ... and it's also the police certificate....for NVC...

07-02-2020 - I-130 SENT
06-01-2021 - APPROVED

NVC
06-06-2021 - Recevied NVC case no. - case entered into nvc's system

06-08-2021 - AOS fee
06-08-2021 - IV fee
07-05-2021 - IV & AOS documents submitted online

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

NVC no longer seems to send the DS230 or i864forms thru' email. All they sent us is the bill..and acknowledgement of ds3032. after that when we called n asked..they said..follow instructions in the online portal..which basically was a link to the travel.state.gov website.

anyone had a diff experience?

I have some good News... My ex-wife doesn't call me anymore!!! :dance::dance: Oh you mean VJ news dont you... The good new for VJ is that regardless of how long it will take us to do this, the fact that we found this site has surely reduced the time it would take doing this in the blind... Just hang in there and hope the lines in Haiti run out soon.

Thanks Tom. I appreciate the kind words but to be honest it is wearing on me now. like i have said before if they would approve one april filer i would be ok. but we are still waiting and waiting for the april filers.

Rich- I am not almost done. I am so far from being done it isn't even funny. Ok, so it kind of is funny. I did a little calculation last night and if everything would've been in order...even with the 8 weeks of processing, I should've been getting my SIF around August 17th. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: Sadly, I don't have a co-sponsor nor documents from my husband YET. I will be here for at least another good 3 months.
