hi vjers,

i just wanna ask your opinions..i got my GC last november '09 meaning to say i'm not USC yet..the recession that we are experiencing right now i find it really hard to look for a job here in vegas, even though a lot of companies are hiring the compitition is really tough..i'm not being inpatient but my hubby really needs my help financially thats why i'm in a hurry to find a job..i have relatives in california and offers me to work as a caregiver.

my QUESTION is: is this gonna affect my papers since i need to file for removal of conditions nxt year.is this gonna ruin my papers..?

answers is greatly appreciated..thanks in advance..

Your GC along with a SSN, then your legal to work any place in the U.S.! This will not effect any part of ROC

ROC is a joint petition with you and your husband, to prove you live together and are married etc. If you don't live together you may not be able to file the petition because you cant joint file as you dont live together.

Someone may know more then this and may be able to help you out more but as far as i know and understand it is better to stay living together and just accept any kind of job you can get, maybe a babysitting job or a nany job in vegas?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Nope.

Filing removal of conditions jointly has nothing whatsoever to do with where you physically live - it's whether or not you're still married. Still married - you file jointly. Separated or divorced - you file on your own, essentially seeking a 'waiver' on the joint filing.

While it's 'better' to live together in the sense that it'll be easier to prove a bona fide marriage since you're in the same place at the same time, it is NOT a requirement. There are other ways to prove you have a bona fide marriage than where you're both located.

Wasn't this very same question asked less than 2 weeks ago by OP? Maybe someone can merge these threads together...

As long as you have good proof of a legit marriage, there really isn't a risk. But if you want to stay unemployed longer, that's your choice.
