I just filed AOS Mar. 1st, 2010. The check has been cashed but I haven't received a receipt yet.

Today when I was going over all the documents I found out that I forgot to list my son's name on the form I-485: Part 3 B, list your present husband/wife,all of your sons and daughters. I feel so worried now. What should I do now? Should I resend my document again?

Pls Help me. Thanks!

The best you can do right now is wait - resending forms/document/evidence now may only end in frustration (not a good idea). What you are waiting for, is for USCIS to request something from you (if they in fact do).

I just filed it a week ago, haven't gotten a receipt or NOA yet. I'm just concerned that the lack of info will cause some problem.

You should call to your visa center and talk and ask to a representative if is it allow to resend the AOS!

Good Luck!

Hello all!

Is it normal that my check was cashed on Mar 8th and today is Mar 12th, and I haven't gotten a NOA1?

Will it be a big issue if I didn't list my son on my I485 form? If I want to add my son's information on my form, can I just write an explanation letter to the USCIS? Will it be the same add that I sent my AOS application?

Thanks in advance!

Don't panic, just wait it out..... if it is important information they will request it from you in the future

YMMV

figure 30 to 60 days before you receive an NOA-1 (notice of receipt).

Hang in there !
