EXPIRED ON THE 31st!

Amazing to see all the approvals yesterday! Unfortunately, my NOA2 that was approved last March 31 expired yesterday. I've tried to get information about that from USCIS, CSC, and the DOS, but no one responds to my emails, and you guys know the kind of answers you get when you call. PLEASE, someboday at CSC, look at the box of recalls under the desk today!!!

Someone in CSC needs a kick in the head. The recalled cases should all be done first. I can't believe they won't extend it however, it should be given a new date when they resend the documents. I hope that happens today for you, it should have been done long before now.

Thanks for understanding. Congrats to you guys. I really hope your process goes smoothly from here on out. The most frustrating thing is not being able to really do anything or to get a valid response from the agencies. If the old adage is true that adversity builds character, we all should be getting some pretty high marks in character development.

Thank you Homeland Security, the White House, Congress and all the other folks who have made legal immmigration such a labyrinthian, convoluted, drawn out painful process that probably a large percentage of folks give up, or just cannot hold out for the eternityit takes to get through this. What a brilliant strategy they have devised to slow down immigration while they continue to posture and futz around with what to do about the 12 mil illegals already here!

"I believe" The Director of the Service Center where the petition was file can extent the deadline four months.

I believe that your approval did not expire yesterday - it was effectively revoked a while ago. As John_and_Marlene posted, I expect you will be getting a new approval, or a reaffirmation, which will give you a new approval expiration date.

Since NOA2 isn't an official term, in these cases I guess we should call it NOA3
