This is quite hard for me to answer too, due to various ventures I've had in Britain!

Lived in Salisbury for 7 years, and meet some great friends there, 4 years of University in Aberdeen, and spent the last 2 months living sleepy Suffolk with some relatives waiting for the final stages of receiving my visa.

"Geordie" Bootboy who now lives in Boston with ma lass (L)

Me mam's a Geordie and we spent LOTS of time in Geordieland during school holidays when I was growing up. My Geordie grandparents are dead now but we still have lots of friends up there. The shopping in Newcastle is FAB and Alnwick Castle is beautiful. My grandparents live din Wallsend and we have friends in Tynemouth, Whitley Bay and Cramlington. I have very fond memories of Newcastle. It's likle my second home!

My husband lives in Boston and I am moving there when I get my visa. Whereabouts are you? We're in the North End.

I find that people have trouble understanding me. What do they make of your Geordie accent?

Yay! I'm from near Brighton, too. :) Love that city. Can't wait until we visit again and go shopping down the Laines and have some fish and chips.

I love Alnwick Castle, Me & my best mate used to go there every couple of weeks, It's beautiful! I am originally from Walker (tough place), But when i came out of the military, I moved to Fenham~It was like a 15 minute walk into the toon, LOL! I used to sit on the Millenium bridge for hours watching the swans, Great memories!

My daughter lives in Gatehead with her mam, A lot has changed in Newcastle now! All arty with focal points, And ST Nicholas Cathedral is just off the map beautiful......

OMG! I always get asked "Are you Irish?" or Scottish, I even got asked if i was Russian? LOL!

The North End of Boston is awesome, Me and my lass went there just a couple of weeks ago, Mostly Italian restaurants and the docks are very scenic too!

We live beside Brookline, Boston is the best! Only 6 hour drive to NYC too!

I was born in Fife, but grew up on the West coast of Scotland. I consider myself Scottish, and only say I am a Fifer when people make the mistake of assuming since I lived in or near Glasgow that I must be a Glaswegian.

Sigh
