This might be a silly question but here it goes.....I use a calling card to speak with my fiance all the time (and I mean I have literally spent a fortune just to hear his voice daily as I miss him so much!) So when people speak of showing emails and call logs - will showing calling card purchase receipts be sufficient? They do not show records of phone numbers I am dialing but I am using them to communicate with my fiance. Second, I do the internet messenging thang with my honey everyday as well as email - but emails are not as often as the messaging. Do you think printing out our conversation logs as well as emails will be enough evidence? Also, does anyone know if we can "black out" personal information - or do they have to be able to read everything?

I've read that some phone cards allow you to track your calls somehow. You could try that. From what I've heard, many people who couldn't would just provide the cards, but personally I can't see how it could help if they can't see which numbers you called. Chat logs are as good as e-mails. And yes, you can black out the personal bits. Also, it seems to me that you'll have plenty of time until the interview to produce more evidence, since you've just gotten NOA1 so far. :)

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

it's fine already for as long as your fiance has ALL the required documents. Photos, pictures, and emails are fine as evidences of ur relationship BUT while you have still time DO start sending ur fiancee letters thru snail mails, that would help too. Just edit the "very" personal or kinda intimate conversations you have with ur fiancee on ur chat logs, then you'll be fine. Good luck!

Do you have other, more supportive evidence? Such as Airline tickets, Hotel Receipts, etc.. That would be better evidence.

I have over 300 phone cards, and like you, wondered if they would have been useful. I thought not. Did not send them. Primarily because they do not have "dialed" number transcripts available. Maybe yours does, check it out.

Look for other evidence in your collection.

Thank you for the 411. I will try contacting my calling card companies to see if they can provide a list of the phone numbers I dialed. I will do the snail mail thang as well - I send packages - does that count? : ) I heard that unless they can see the date stamped envelope that you should not bother showing "snail mail"?

Thank you all for the speedy replies! Everyone that I have encountered on this site has been so wonderful! I pray for you all to get approved quickly! Nothing hurts more than being apart from the love of your life.

I would recommend, for a while, trying something like

http://www.tel3advantage.com/default.aspx

which I found after almost 2 years of using phone cards (with nothing to show to go along with the soon to be filed I129F) but figure the records from this February on are pretty clear, my fiance and I are in very regular contact! tel3advantage keeps track of every call, and creates monthly logs, which are printable for verification, and no I don't work for them, but the rates are good too! :D

We have a ton of Yahoo IM's to fall back on as well, and I intend to use them and emails to show the length of our relationship, which is over 2 years at this point.

Good luck to you, I am filing soon!
