Attaching AOS documents together

What is the prefered way to attach or bind the AOS documents together? I know the visa documents were attached by the 2 holes at the top fastener system. I think the AOS documents loose would not be a good idea. Thanking you in advance.

Oopps!!! :hehe: Here you go, this might help.

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

a. Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

b. Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

c. The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

d. Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

e. Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required (Forms I-94, Labor certifications, etc). Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.

7. . If you are sending more than one case in an envelope, clearly separate the cases by rubber band or clip fasteners.

Now as for attatching the photos, I know they have to be in plasic baggies with "Photo of....." and then attached to a sheet of paper. How exactly are you supposed to attach it to the paper?

Your photo is 2x2 ( for simplicity ) . Draw a 2x2 rectangle on a piece cardboard stock ( slightly thicker paper ). Make 2 incisions on the opposite corners, as if cutting corners off the rectangle. Insert corners of your photo into the incisions. Now your photos are attached to cardboard stock without use of glue/tape/plastic.

I used the little booklet/envelope thing Walgreens gave me with my passport pics and put an elastic around the entire package. No clips, no hole punching, no baggies.
