How long the GC you get once you enter to the US?

Hello Guyz, How long the GC you get once you enter the US? I've been here almost 3 weeks but still my GC didn't get it. They going to send my SSN to with my GC? my case is CR1. Thank you very much for advance responces.

3-6 weeks typical for GC

SSN will come separate of your GC (different agencies) but only if you selected the automatic SSN on the DS-230 (and that is not always 100% of the time)

No. SSN first then GC later.

2 weeks... their yankin your chain.... although "possible" usually about 6 weeks for the GC is more realistic, if you reach the 8 week point, make an infopass appt... SS card is hit or miss, if you have not received it yet, go the social security office and they can get you the number ASAP and the card a week after...

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

Thank you Christeen for the advice. I still wait until Friday if still not yet get my SSN. I will go to Social Security Office to get my SSN number.

I received my green card one month after my POE. I applied for my SSN 3 weeks after my POE and received the card 6 days later.
