My sister's brother-in-law have is doing a research study. Could you please help him on his research study? thank you.

WHAT ARE YOUR REASONS WHY YOU CHOSE TO MARRY A FOREIGNER:

because...

a. good attitude or character

b. good educational background

c. financially stable

d. stable job

e. good physical appearance

f. arranged marriage

g. your family agree that you will marry a foreigner

h. your friends agree also that you will marry a foreigner

pwede kang pumili kahit ilan o pwede rin lahat. pero kung may ibang reason ka pa pls paki-indicate n lang. tsaka kung pwede pahingi sana ng picture niyong mag-asawa for documentation.

Thank you in advance sa lahat na mag response for his research study..

What do family pictures have to do with 'research' this is a personal thing to be asking for.

agreed - and perhaps the op can shed some light on why that is included.

translation confirmed - personally, i'd not give out any pictures - and due to some experiences i've had on the internet in the past, that's why very few vj'ers even know what i or nessa looks like.

if anyone chooses to supply pictures to the op of this thread, it's at their own risk.

Exactly, you never know what or where ever your personal photos or info ends up?

That's an interesting "survey".

The question seemingly assumes that all multi-racial couples chose partners outside their race DELIBERATELY rather than just ending up with a person who just happens to be of different racial background as you are.

What school he is attending and what course he is taking?

The selection is all about marrying foreigner for convenience. Why not simplify his question...

did you marry a foreigner for convenience or for love....

And if the question is for research.... usually professor asked for fill-up papers for survey or else... answers are just hypothetical...

just some tips for your brother:

remove vague words such as "good" the choices (it's implying that foreigners have a good attitude and filipinos don't, which if this is the meaning, he should say so)

choices should be clear

these can be choices for why you chose your husband (never mind if he's a foreigner or not)

suggest to your brother that the choices should cover all possible answers (ex. bad experience w/a filipino BF, hehe)

ya, Doak, sorry, most of this doesn't pass MY smell test for a 'research study' - ie -

woefully inadequate for any backgrounder info on the researcher, the uni, the class, and the scope of the research project.

If this is not for a university class, then I would never, ever, participate.

If there's not a statement of confidentiality, then I would never, ever, participate.

If the university info is not provided, as well as the professor contact info, I'd never, ever participate.

If this is his 'first attempt' to do research, I'm sorry. He needs to learn a bit more about being able to 'vette his data' . To simply 'post something on an internet portal', is not enough. Ya - I know - even if the uni is in the Phils - there are standards to be met. Sorry.

Most OTHER research stuff, for a university class, is gathered ONLINE, with a full explanation of whats going on, and a series of questions. The answers are usually set up in some html/php page, storing the data (at a minimum) into some mySql instance. That's at a minimum, regardless of the research topic, or class.

Then, any 'reference to help me' would point back to the url for the project. A reader could click something, get to that page, and start the questionnaire.

He's not 'skiving', is he, for this project?
