Fill out your timeline and you'll get a prediction of when your approval is likely to come. Think in terms of about three months from NOA1.

Touches can be seen by checking your case status on the USCIS website. Good luck.

Use the time waiting for your NOA2 to familiarize yourself with the NVC process. This link may help.

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

We completed NVC last year in 19 days but I am not sure what the time frames have been recently. Once you complete NVC an interview date is booked but that will depend on how busy your particular consulate is. Again ours took 3 months, others were booked the month following their NVC completion. Perhaps someone from your consulate will be able to give you a better estimate. Good luck.

  • 1 month later...

Its same for me.My husband filed I-130 application for me on 17th january,2010.We received NOA-1 on 19th january. After that no reply from USCIS.still waiting for my approval. Now I have a question what should we do?how long we should wait?I have already seen that same timeline application procedure.they already got their NOA-2.From USCIS web-site I saw that they touched my file on 21st january,2010.After that they didnt touch my file anymore.I am now confused what should we do?and how long I have to wait for NOA-2?By the way my husband is an US citizen.

If you look at the USCIS website they say 5 months, hang it there...we are in the same boat, we received our NOA1 on dec 29th, and nothing happened since, no touch, nothing. I guess we need to be patient!!!
