I like the USA Olympic team all around and we lead in medals. It was great when the US Men's figure skater knocked off the Russian hotshot. The Russian handled the defeat with cheap shot comments and several days of insults and poor sportsmanship.

The American handled the attacks like a gentleman and was gracious.

A few days ago, after USA showed Canada how to play hockey, I was nervous that Russia and the USA would meet for the gold. Wouldn't have been good for domestic harmony, if you know what I mean.

No, I see the first signs of patriotism toward the USA in my better half.

USA BETTER TRASH THOSE CANADIANS, I hear!

I guess that Canada learned the lesson well. The faces of the Americans after they lost that game was like Master Card: Priceless!

Damn good game though. Going into the game, I thought Canada was going to blow the US out, maybe 3-1 or 4-1. And watching the US early in the game seem to confirmed it. But the US rallied and both teams played a hell of a game. It was a physical and technical game to the end, and either team would have deserved the win. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that game.

Was a damn good game, and crybaby Crosby in the end just got damn lucky, but still.

This was the best Hockey tournament I've ever seen. 1992 comes close, but wasn't as intense.
