I am as well, from a student visa. When did you file?

Came to the U.S on a F1 visa January 2008

Got engaged to my USC girlfriend Dec 2008

DEC 29th 2009 Married

JAN 27th 2010 Medical completed Jan 27th

FEB 17th 2010 AOS + I-130 package sent

FEB 25th Got emails with all receipt # ( but not able to check on USCIS site)

FEB 28th Online status check available

MAR 1st Received Hard Copy of NOA's in the mail

MAR 8th Received Biometrics appointment in mail: for Mar 18th (however no updates on site or email notifications)

MAR 9th Biometrics complete via walk-in (All docs touched on USCIS site)

MAR 26th Received interview appointment (For May 6th)

APR 23rd Touched on I-130 and I-485

APR 26th Touched on all docs, EAD card production ordered

MAY 1st Advance patrol in mail

MAY 6th Interview (Request for additional information)

MAY 6th EAD in mail

June 1st (RFE mailed in)

June 28th Notice of approval on USCIS website

July 3th GREEN CARD INT HE MAIL!!!

Yeah he put a little green sticker on there and then gave me the other half with the tracking number on it. I came over on a tourist visa or B2 whatever you wanna call it from Canada.

I should hopefully be sending my AOS package next week. They will send you NOA's in due time for the forms... you can also see when your check or money order gets cashed and that should tell you that the processing on your case has begun. Alternatively, you can track the status of your application on the USCIS website or call them up/set up an Infopass appointment and inquire about the status.

AOS timeline:

1st March 2010 - AOS packet received at Chicago (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)
9th March 2010 - Checks cashed
12th March 2010 - All 4 NOA's received
19th March 2010 - Applications touched biggrin.png
19th March 2010 - Received Biometrics letter for 2nd April
2nd April 2010 - Biometrics done
19th April 2010 - Received interview letter for May 21st biggrin.png
6th May 2010 - All applications touched. Status of I-765 changed to document production, status of I-131 changed to post decision activity.
10th May 2010 - Received approved AP in mail
21st May 2010 - AOS Interview, IO said he will approve the case... waiting for Green card smile.png
27th May 2010 - Received EAD card
17th June 2010 - Approval notice for I-130 received. Also received "Welcome to USA" letter biggrin.png
28th June 2010 - Finally received my GC.... Praise be to God smile.png

16th March 2012 - Sent ROC package
21st March 2012 - NOA1 date
20th April 2012 - Received Biometrics letter for 16th May

December 2012 - Received 10 year GC

01 Nov 2013 - Sent naturalization package

18 Feb 2014 - Oath ceremony done, naturalization complete!!

I just sent my I-130,485 and I-765 last Friday and when I checked my tracking # its already got there in Chicago and they attempt to deliver the package last Saturday but since the office is close USPS just left a notice regarding redelivery. Hope they get it tomorrow.

3/03/2010-Received all NOA's dated 3/01/2010

Yeah i just checked my package on usps and it says it was delivered this morning. funny they told me for 5 bucks more i could express ship and guarantee it on monday but i just went with first class and it still got there monday!!

I checked USPS and it says our package was delivered last Wednesday, but we haven't received any response and they haven't cashed the checks yet. Is that normal...?
