01/09/06- pakage sent to NSC

01/11/06- NOA1

03/16/06- NOA2 approved!!!

04/03/06- arrived at NVC

04/04/06- left NVC

04/08/06- received packet 3

04/11/06- sent packet 3 to Frankfurt

04/26/06- received packet 4

05/23/06- INTERVIEW at 9:30amAPPROVED!!!!

06/01/06- visa in hand!!!

06/08/06- married in Vegas!!!

06/24/06- sent AOS and EAD package to Chicago

06/27/06- Chicago receives package

06/30/06- NOA1

07/03/06- NOA1 received in the mail

07/17/06- biometrics appt. received in mail

08/31/06- received a new NOA1 email

09/15/06- AOS APPROVED!! got email saying welcome letter was sent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No kidding. We just got our interview appointment notice for 1 month from now, so I basically wasted almost $400 on AP and EAD :(

07/02/2006 - package received in Chicago (delivery confirmed via USPS)

07/12/2006 - biometric appointment notice (DAY 13)

07/14/2006 - received biometric appointment notice via mail

07/25/2006 - interview notice (DAY 26)

07/26/2006 - biometrics taken (DAY 27)

07/28/2006 - received interview notice via mail

09/07/2006 - I-485 interview...APPROVED!!!...passport stamped (DAY 70)

09/12/2006 - I-131 approved (DAY 75)

But i have to agree with the other posters on the EAD refund.....

Yeah, annoying I'll bet, but remember that you could be in the opposite situation where you needed the EAD and AP and had to wait 2 years for your GC. If you were in that situation I think you would happily pay the $400 to be in the situation you're in now.

My husband used his AP last month when we went to St. Lucia, so we only wasted our money on the EAD...it STILL hasn't been approved. We'll probably get it in the mail months after his greencard arrives :lol::lol: Tho, if I'd know we'd get approved so fast, I wouldn't have filed for AP or EAD

Yeah, I'm not complaining at all about the speed of it! It's awesome that they are moving so fast...just annoying that they can't get the EAD out right away so we could use it!
