I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

08 Feb 2010 - Package arrived in the lockbox (confirmed through USPS) - received date

20 Feb 2010 - NOA1 AOS/EAD (hard copies) - notice date for both is 16 Feb 2010

27 Feb 2010 - Biometrics A. Letter Arrived (schedule: March 19)

10 Mar 2010 - Successful Walk-in Biometrics (schedule was: March 19)

10-11 Mar 2010 - two touches on both cases after my walk-in Biometrics

26 Mar 2010 - Received the notice in the mail requesting to appear in an interview

15 Apr 2010 - EAD Card production ordered notice received via email

16 Apr 2010 - EAD touched again

I guess I just felt bad because generally things have been going ok except for not being able to see my case online at the beginning, and others are still waiting on news. I hope we get more soon for everyone!

I-130 for mom

08/04/2014 mailed the I-130 petition via USPS riority mail

08/06/2014 USCIS received the papers and routed to Nebraska Service Center (NSC) for processing

08/08/2014 received NOA in the mail

08/11/2014 checks have been cleared

08/28/2014 received approval notice in the mail. Petition was approved on 08/26/14

09/03/2014 NCS shipped the approved case to the Department of State for visa processing

I-130 for dad

08/04/2014 mailed the I-130 petition via USPS priority mail

08/06/2014 USCIS received the papers and routed to Nebraska Service Center for processing

08/08/2014 received NOA in the mail 08/11/2014 checks have been cleared

08/29/2014 received RFE letter in the mail

09/05/2014 sent documents with RFE letter to Nebraska Service Center via USPS priority mail

09/07/2014 RFE packet was delivered

09/08/2014 USCIS received the RFE documents

09/17/2014 notified thru text that the petition was approved

Since you were filing the EAD based on your marriage and adjustment of status, the category should have been c (9). But I doubt there is a delay because you used the wrong code. IMO, it could be issued as it is. As I can recall only one person who filed in February received there authorization. Maybe this will be the week! Fingers crossed :D

Im actually a March filer for AOS but I appliedfor EAD on Feb 3 coz I wanted to work as soon as I can. It was a mistake though, coz we read somewhere that you can apply for EAD as K1 even without AOS only to find out that it takes 3 months and it will expire once your I-94 expires. we were gonna withdraw the application but decided to let it run its course. We did biometrics and then we got an RFE for our AOS NOA. what happened was that they thought we forgot to send in our AOS NOA. they gave us 3 weeks to comply so during that 3 weeks, we sent off our AOS application then sent them back the RFE once we got the NOA. and 7 days after my EAD was approved. so all's well that ends well. I was pretty lucky I guess. I applied on Feb 3 and got approved March 26.

- completed medical exam again at $145- we decided on this to avoid any hassles.
