Thanks everyone! Sorry for the delay, but it turns out that caring for a newborn baby is a lot of work! She's precious and I wouldn't trade the sleepless nights for anything. Here she is!

Oh, is she ever cute! Congratulations, Mom and Dad, and welcome Alyson :)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

She is beautiful Huggles. I love all her hair! Sleep whenever you can and try to get out of the house alone every now and then...even if it is just to pick up a few groceries.

Thanks gals! When I was in labour and she started crowning Bill loudly said "she had your hair!" It was cute.

You're right Colleens, I spent all week in the house and felt so confined. The baby is just so consuming I forget about everything else... like eating. Who ever thought I would forget to feed myself?

Ah, huggles, your little girl is so cute! I hadn't been on vj in so long that I missed your arrival. Hope your days are getting better and better.

Thanks girl! Things are great. She is growing and developing quite the personality! Her hair is getting longer and wild too...it stands up on end  For the most part she is a happy, content baby. She has her moments, but she's a really good girl. At 6 weeks she is also sleeping 6-7 hours at night, so I'm thankful for that.

How are things going for you? Have you made any progress on the baby front?

Huggles, glad to hear that your little girl is developing her own personality. We do have some progress on the baby front. We have almost all the money saved in order to start the IVF procedure. Either March or June will be when we start everything. We need to make an appointment for a few weeks from now to get the low down on what exactly we need to do and when. It feels good to almost have the money saved. Today I opened mail telling me that my DH's ROC was approved and that he has a 10 year green card coming so it was the second best Christmas gift I could have received - a BFP would have trumped ROC approval but a BFP for us will mean some intense medical procedures.

Congrats on the approval, nice to not have to think about that any more. I'm sure it feels good having the money almost saved and having a plan.

I had a chemical pregnancy end of Oct beginning of Nov, that has messed with my head a bit. We are back to trying of course the man loves all the trying  I keep feeling like time is running out, I'm hoping soon.

I have such crazy baby fever. But unfortunately that has to be put on the backburner yet again. My hubby made another very poor decision and it has put our relationship in jeapordy. He is moving out for a few months and starting treatment for his PTSD since we think this is what is causing the poor decision making. Then it is off for some marriage counseling and hopefully we can make everything work out. We really want another little one but it just seems that bad luck keeps following us :(
