Relax, Brian. No one here is going to ridicule you if you open up a little once in awhile. Unless you are on the lamb or under a witness protection program, there's no rationale in being so meticulous about not sharing with other regulars here about yourself. Do you have any real life friends or do you tend to be an introvert?

My friend,

I'm sorry your feelings of inadequacy have lead you to obsess with learning about my life on a public forum. Hopefully over time, you will come to understand that to learn about another on a forum such as this takes time, patience, and a willingness for the person to share their life. There have been many aspects of my life I've shared on VJ over the years. A good attentive and non critical listener would have learned quite a bit about me by now. Unfortunately, you've just displayed that you do not possess these abilities and have resorted to a frontal attack method for discovery. I wish you luck in your quest for discovery.

You claim "we" wish to know about me. Who are the "we" that desires I post my life story on VJ? So far it's just you.

While you seem at a loss to know who I am, there are people on VJ who have taken the time to know me and my family. These people are welcome to visit our home should they ever travel to Houston.

Kind Regards,

Natty Bumppo

For a guy who openly boasts of joy with baiting others, you sure squirm like a worm when the tables are turned. :jest:

To all the book nerds out there who live vicariously through their heroes, I salute you.

I know everything about Natty.....well..... almost everything.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I just hope you will help me pick a good book hero when I'm eligible to change my display name in April. :) I'm functionally illiterate, but I watch a helluva lot of movies, so I'd need a movie version.

Do you have a buckskin jacket that you wear when you go out shooting your long rifle and pretend you are the real Natty? :)

No, his guns just went off by accident and soldiers kept jumping front of the rounds. He just started working there and he had a short fuse for workplace rage. His correspondence with the American born-imam in Yemen who also had contact with the panty bomber on the plane are just a coincidence.

Investigate the Amish because they wear dark clothes, have beards, talk funny and don't drink alcohol.

Post of the year. The contest is over folks.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

glad you are able to have someone read and write for you so you can participate on vj and expats.

wouldn't it be wonderful if you were able to read/write yourself ... without help? there are a number of teachers on vj who might be able to help you connect with a local service to teach you how to read/write. there are adult education classes, tutors ... even RIF can help. give them a call and see what is available. please keep us posted on your progress. it will be wonderful when you are able to be truly independent.

since you admittedly live your life for the silver screen ... maybe you would be better served choosing a hollywood hero. there are many hollywood hero's mentioned in the news everyday. have you considered reviewing the tabloids for a choice role model.

i'm also honored you have chosen to recognize me in your signature. when i first saw my vj name in your signature, it brought a tear to my eye knowing you think so much of me. i don't feel worthy of your admiration and would like to suggest another for your affections ... the tasmanian devil, or Taz as for some reason i think you'll discover the two of you have a lot in common.

Forget Hollywood hero's. There's always nursery rhyme characters. Suggestion: Little Jack Horner ??

since you did ask for my help in selecting a new name ... another option is .... Tamagotchi

Tamagotchi, the creature from cyberspace who needs love to survive and grow ... but if neglected may grow up to be mean or ugly.

don't worry Steven ... i think you may be loved here on vj
