Even MSNBC didn't label this a terrorist incident in spite of your fundementally misleading thread title. It's

"4 shot to death, 5 wounded at St. Louis plant"

It's called a workplace shooting that had nothing to do with a political or religious motive. Did you post the same thing about that guy who shot up a building claiming racism was the reason he didn't get Social Security payout?

When Christians kill in a surprise attack, it's not terrorism.

I believe Steve and Cleo are under a verbal terrorist attack.

Who predicted it would? The fact that idiots like you believe anything muslim that totes a gun is a terrorist doesn't mean that the USA is bristling with people like you although, there are a few of you to be sure.

You just did. Surely if there their are so many people wanting to kill Muslims in a nation bristling with guns, where's the bashlash?

BTW, there's no blanket prohibition against American Muslims owning guns nor should there be.

You would know, being the poster child for the bottle puppet

Except when the perp is a muslim, am I right? Yeah, I am right

When a Muslim kills his wife or child or shoots up his work place or a place of worship, it's always political/religious terrorism making all Muslims suspect, subject to scutiny re their patriotism and humanity. but when non-Muslims do the same, it's just business as usual.

No, I just didn't. I said people like you are in reality few and far between on the streets of the USA hence the chances of a violent backlash (something that might get reported) are rather less than you might suppose. That said, why should a muslim accept this stereotyping? They should not.

BTW Who suggested there was/should be any prohibition on muslims owning guns?

Yes, there is a difference between Al-Qaeda's enemy combatants and disgruntled postal workers. Imagine that.

Indeed there is and simply having a muslim name doesn't put you in one or the other category. Imagine that.

yea, a disgruntled Muslim postal worker who kills co-workers would be a terrorist. A non-Muslim disgruntled postal worker who kills co-workers wouldn't be a terrorist. So far, going postal refers to non-Muslims.

Sure, like other countries we could call this a "terrorist attack" and not count it in our crime rates. But that is only useful in countries like UK that have gun control and need a way to justify it by eliminating crime "off the books" by calling them terrorist attacks. In a FREE country, where FREE people are allowed to own firearms, there is no need to "cook the books"

Also we can expect soon that the USA will stop including crime and accidents (including automobile accidents) in our life expectancy calculations. Countries with government health care routinely eliminate these causes of death in order to make their life expectancy look better. Again, presently we have no political need to lie about it, but we soon will.

The UK is not a free country anymore? Shouldn't someone have informed us about this?

I sense a discrimination issue here .... why can't muslims go postal ... and non-muslims be terrorists?

begs the questions ....

was there ever a non-muslim terrorist?

was there ever a muslim who went postal?
