Hello..I have been reading this forum and has found it really helpful so far. I had a question though.

I am worried if I have enough sufficient proof of relationship. All I have is that she visited US last year for about a month and I visited India for 10 days last year. Then I have a lot of emails of us back and forth. I was not present in India for my engagement, but I have a lot of pictures of her with ceremonial flowers and my parents together with her and other relatives. I have webcam recorded video of us talking to each other on the engagement. However my biggest problem is that we dont have any pictures together. Is that going to be a big problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

You dont have to have a lot of pictures together, but it is good to have a couple. The other proof that you have met in the last 2 years (for a k1 visa) would be boarding passes, stamps in passport, hotel receipts...etc.

Photos definitely do help to establish a secondary form of proof, but the primary source of evidence is important.

Hopefully you have your flight tickets from when you visited her country, your boarding passes, hotel receipt (with credit card statement showing hotel payment), atm withdrawl receipts work good, PLUS your passport with entry and departure stamps from when you visited India.

Because your photographic evidence is so scant I would definitely work on your proof of ongoing relationship items for the interview.

Good luck,

Al

Pictures are not a needed thing until the interview portion. Adding pics to your petition will not determine your approval or denial.

Each CO is different at the embassy. Some really like to see fotos of the couple, some don't. Luck of the draw.

I would take photos regardless as you dont know if they will want to see them or not.

Also to the OP...please fill in your timeline, it helps when answering questions. No one heres knows where you are in the process unless you do your timeline.

All of your evidence, when put all together, should "tell your story" of your relationship.

If you do not have solid proof that the two of you are a couple and have a real relationship with the primary intention to marry and be together forever, then you have a potential problem.

Most happy couples have some photos of themselves together, it's only natural. How can you prove your relationship without them? Can you?

It will be up to the consular officer to decide if you have enough proof. If you think you do not, then generate that proof now before the interview.
