Actually, correct that..didn't get a text message or e-mail, just checked the website and had touches on both EAD and AP, clicked on EAD and said card production ordered March 8, 2010.

Ok, so I just got the text message for my EAD...anyway, I'll take approval for EAD right now so I can start to find jobs.

CONGRATS!!! :dance::dance::dance:

For those who sent in their RFE and haven't heard anything back...

I called USCIS yesterday to ask about the status of my RFE since I mailed it back a while ago and my online status hadn't changed. After the call was escalated and I waited on the line for 40 minutes, they told me that the evidence had been recieved and processed on the 18th and I should go back to waiting.

So if your online status hasn't changed (like mine) and you haven't received an EAD approval or appointment letter (like me) - no need to worry. They are "working on it". :star:

I'm still patiently waiting :) Its been 3 weeks since they received my rfe and resume to processing. 60 days - 21 days = 39 days more to go? or should I expect letter from USCIS after a month? :)

I am sure they are working on your case. We don't "beleive" in touches anymore, so to speak  because they aren't a sure way to keep tabs on your case. The "touches" system is separate from the bar-code scanning they do on your immigration documents. The touches are purely for the purposes of letting the applicants know their case is being worked on, but if you don't get touches it only means that they are working on your case, they just aren't letting you know that through the online system (because they are lazy or some there half-witted reason). Look at our timeline, it took us a while before we knew what was happening, and in reality, they had processed our RFE the day they received it, it just took us a heck of a longer time to figure that out. So hang in there, I am sure they are working on your case!

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

AP received, and EAD went backwards from document production to "approval sent" which I guess means they mailed it yesterday!

Come on AOS approval.....

Congratulations!

Congratulations to everyone on their status updates. I am trying to get everything together for our interview at the end of the month and thinking that we won't see AP and EAD before that. On another note, I am so frustrated! I sent my passport to have my name changed via priority mail with delivery/signature confirmation nearly a week ago, and it is lost somewhere between here and the National Passport Center. The post office is completely useless and won't even look into it until after 5 pm tonight. What is the point of paying so much extra for it to get there fast only to have it not arrive at all? I wanted to overnight it so that I could get it back for our interview, but they said it was too late in the day. I went with priority since it meant arriving only one more day later than it would have via overnight delivery which wouldn't be sent until the next day anyways. Grrrr...I am so fed up with government agencies!! Thanks for listening!

I am sorry to hear that, Menina. I hope things get resolved fast.

We filed on the same day and your interview will be two days after mine.

We share similar thoughts about EAD and AP. ;) All the best for us who are going to have our interview.

Just got an email from USCIS I485 approved. Have had a couple similar emails in last few days about EAD being printed and sent out.

Congratulations!

congrats on your progress, everyone! it's crazy that some folks already have green card approvals - yay!

we're still waiting - RFE response was only a week ago, but we're feeling very impatient. the EAD hasn't been touched since 2/3/10. i just want something concrete soon - EAD approval, interview appointment, anything. i've never been good at the waiting thing, but suppose i better get used to it. i think i just need to avoid checking on my case status multiple times per day :).

AOS (from tourist w/overstay)

1/26/10 - NOA

5/04/10 - interview appt - approved

ROC

2/06/12 - NOA date

7/31/12 - card production ordered

N-400

2/08/13 - NOA date

3/05/13 - biometrics appt

6/18/13 - interview - passed!

7/18/13 - oath ceremony

I hope you get updates soon.

I no longer trust online updates. I received my interview letter two weeks ago. It has been more than a month since my AP was touched and almost a month since my EAD and AOS were touched.
