This is the way a certain part of the media treats people. Validity is aportioned based on looks. Why should Michele be treated any differently? As for intrinsic beauty, that's very individual. I for example could never get my head round why the media in the UK considered Princess Diana a beauty - I guess what it comes down to is the comparison like for like. Within the Windsor household, not much competition and I suspect this is the same standard that Michelle is being held to - not comparing her to catwalk models.

It still seems to be a horrible way to validate someone's worth.
