Hello everyone....

very nervous. as the first interview in baltimore stated for i-485 , and we had our approval paper for i-130, that interview was confusing as our interviewer an x- military man said they didnt have any papers in the file showing my approval i-130, and i showed him the original copy they showed us. He said most likely we will be called for a 2nd interview as the file was not complete,(but the file was huge)he asked jus what we got, we showed him pictures and utility bills, we were nervous, as my husband and i have an age difference me , wife being older by 10 years,(but husband still looks older (smile) and he was out of status when we married by 3 years. We have just been notified of a second interview for i-130 in January. Boy.. are we nervous. im sure we will be separated.

on the first interview i was so sure it wasnt a problem, so now when we didnt get approved right away, i was suprised.

they said this interview in january is with officer Z, and in the ground floor in baltimore, strange, as the first interview was in the first floor, . anybody been through a similar experience or have any suggestions? thank you. as i have 2 kids already, (the wife, us citizen) but we have none together.

We are in the same boat as you. We had our first interview on February 4th 2009, in the Philadelphia office. During that interview we were told that the officer was going to recommend this case for approval. Well its been a year, and we had to renew my wife's EAD, and went down for biometrics. Now we have ANOTHER appointment for her biometrics yet again on the 22nd of this month. Then in January we have a our second interview. Not sure what caused our case to be flagged either, other then my wife is 30 years younger then me. So it may have been flagged because of our age difference.

had interview, we were both very nervous. it was the interview where u are separated. so my husband went in first, as i painstakenly waited, just nervous, this day FINALLY CAME!!! and after about 45 minutes, we switched, he came out and i went in. they asked my name, how many windows n my bedroom, tv's in house, computers in house, bed sheet colors, comforter color on bed, asked me about the proposal , how was i proposed to, about what made us get married, about his mother, have i met her? when she comes to u.s. where does she stay? asked has any of us been to the hospital, about do we have any cars jointly owned. what my husband did for a living before i met him . at the end she said our questions matched well. and in 2 years dont forget to change his status. so i took that as a yes!! green card may be comming, so i asked her, (the lady was very nice) as im sure they all are,but she wanted to hear anything i had to say.she said well if its up to me, id approve it, but m supervisor has to sign off on it. then she mentioned it again, ...dont forget in 2 years, 3 months before his temporary status ends you have to file to change his status.... just a good note, we didnt have health insurance, or life insurance, but you have to think "smart". take things that is also not on the ""list"" . swwe are both in the u.s. living together, but i still copied my cell phone bills for one year, and each moth i went through, and highlighted each call made and recieved by my husband and me, copied my facebook pictures with the comments on it, as they are dated , so i had comments on pictures from when we were dating to present. took several picture albums, like ....7. we've only been married for 1 year and a half., and dated for 7 months, but you can never take enough evidence. pics with him n my family, me n his family, holidays, or jus playing around pics . if they look interested , tell a funny story or situation u were in, as long as you overwhelm them with true evidence and you are in love, and truly married for love, you wont have a problem, the people that are not truly married, seem to stick out like a 'sore thumb' its kinda obvious. we dressed nice, like we were going to church,. so even though no one commented much on my first post, i still wanted to post my info if it can be any help to anyone, that is a blessing.

good luck everyone, but....we are still waiting for the greencard, she said we should hear something in 2 weeks.
