Meaning.. Either of the two? Coz I am near St. Mary's I guess.

Can somebody explain how this CFO thing is done? Coz I am very confused now. Like you have to attend a guidance and counseling first before registration? What's that?

First off Congrats! :) Didn't take as long as you thought!

And that Whole CFO/PDOS thing is not very clear at all.

Ignore the PDOS part, that is for people who get Visa's to work out of the country.

CFO is for spouses and that is all you need.

The guidance and counselling is all a one day thing. You have to do the "class", get the info, pay and then wait for them to stamp your VISA.

1. Original Passport;

2. Original and photocopy of visa;

3. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound/ Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada bound/ Certification of Eligibility (for Japan-bound); copy and original of the K-1 Visa

4. Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate; Given at the end of the session.

5. Duly completed emigrant registration form; and This: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/pdf/downloadable%20f...trationform.pdf

6. Payment of the authorized registration fee. From the site: You will pay a fee totaling PhP 650.00. The PhP 250.00 is paid as counseling fee at SMEF-COW or PRISM while the PhP 400.00 is for registration at the CFO.

Easy stuff, just go sit and go thru the motions at least 3 hours. You can leave as soon as you have that stamp. So go get it!
