Dear Members:

I'm knew to the forum, I hope I'm posting in a right area.

I have a P3 visa that expires in May 2010 , I'm from South Africa & my fiancé

Italian citizen with a E2 visa expires 2014. We both live in the US, we can reknew or visas but I always

have to go back in So Africa to reknew every year. We want to get married but we don't know

what process we need to do in order to change my status to his.

Advise will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the rules around these VISA types, but can he(the E2) bring a spouse to the US on his VISA? I don't have any helpful info on how you would adjust and live here, sorry

We spoke with a friend that told us, it is possible to adjust my status to his if we get married. That's why I'm confused because we are not US citizens but our visas are valid. I was told to adjust my status before my visa expires in May.
