A hearty Congratulations to you both!

Thanks - I'm now back at work (unfortunately I live in London so I had no excuse for taking the day off) - just wish I could go home and go to sleep!

GRRRRRRR.

Grr again.

DOS has this new system in place where you can't be put on hold to talk to a "visa specialist." I still call every day to ask about David's interview date even though it is a little futile for another two weeks. Instead, they hang up on you telling you to call back later. How the hell am I supposed to get ahold of them?? I've always had to wait 5-10 minutes to talk to someone...this sucks majorly.

Yikes, I'm so sorry! I've been utterly swamped with things to do since I had my interview. It seems that everything I put off pre-interview has now had to be dealt with this week. Plus, I've been trying to get as much as my stuff listed for sale on Amazon, so that I can hopefully make a bit of money (and in many cases, it works out cheaper to rebuy in the US than ship it from here).

I haven't forgotten about the review. My apologies to anyone who's been anxious to read it. I shall try to get it done as soon as I possibly can. I remember being desperate to read the reviews of those who had had interviews not long before mine, so I really do want to write up a full report as soon as I can. I just don't want to make a rushed job of it, and I haven't had the free time yet to be able to give it the attention I'd like to.

Random question for those of you that have been to your interview: Whilst I was there, I noticed that they were calling out ticket numbers beginning with I and N, but there was also one ticket beginning with E called. Anyone know what the E number is? It made me really curious whilst we were there waiting to be seen.

Congratulations to those that were approved this week!! It's a great feeling, huh? I still feel a bit like I'm going through an emotional storm at the moment.

Department of Homeland Security also handles their cases in the visa interview area. What the DHS interviews are for is beyond me!

You probably won't see this until later, but have a smooth journey home! If you get time later, maybe you could drop me a note about how things went in Philly.

Take care!

Freaking out a bit - haven't heard from Donna yet, and she had her appt/interview 3.5 hours ago.

Just know her enough that if she DID get approved she would've been calling me like a madman.

Wonder if TeamMoran saw a sobbing woman...?

Maybe she's still waiting in the embassy? I was in there 2.5 hours for mine. Took me another 15 minutes before I could call anyone, because the phone was in the car (not allowed them in embassy)

I hope everything has gone okay though.

Have you had any luck speaking to an actual person at DOS this week? I keep getting told all specialist are busy, stay on the line then the phone starts ringing constantly or I get the operator recorded message that "All circuits are busy". It's very frustrating!
