Hi guys,

My parents Green Card has been approved. :dance: They both got their approval stamps today. Interview was completed today. Per the officer they should have their card in the next 2 weeks time frame.

Interview was good. Officer verified all the questions answered on the I-485. Asked for additional documents (police clearance certificate etc) and verified their intention to maintain their residence in the US. The interview lasted about 15-20 minutes. Officer was very cordial and helpful.

Online Case Status has also been updated promptly. I am impressed.

Thanks for all the support given by this forum. Appreciate your timely responses.

8/23/2009: 8 NOA Received for all submitted applications and checks

still i have question what about I-130 is it approved because for me i already have interview on dec 23rd but no news for I-130.

Regarding the I-130, we had the same situation. It was pending any decision until the interview. After the interview, I checked online, it then showed it was approved.

Richa, I had my interview at Manhattan (Federal Plaza) and it went very smooth, the IO was very pleasant, I know everyone will have different experiences but remain positive and pray and your parents may meet any angel as we did.
